Barbara Renner’s new children’s picture book will be published this fall. While Cody and his Gramma are playing the game I Spy in Cody and the Case of the Missing Crystal, they discover Gramma’s crystal is missing. “I spy” turns into “I’ll find” as Cody vows to solve the mystery.
King of The Neuro Verse, the multi award-winning young adult novel by Idris Goodwin, becomes available in paperback on September 22. His second children’s picture book, Don’t Drop the Mic, will be released from Harper Collins/Clarion October 20.
Jessica McCann is an award-winning historical novelist who volunteers to coordinate the Arizona Author Book Festival. On November 10, her publisher releases a fully-revised 15th anniversary edition of her debut novel, All Different Kinds of Free featuring an introduction by Jewell Parker Rhodes.
Joseph Cazier’s book, Leading in Analytics, has been translated into Mandarin. The Arizona State University professor is currently at work on his second book, tentatively titled Leading in AI: How to Gauge, Guide, Govern and Grow your Organization in the Age of Generative AI.

Author and editor Susan Pohlman is founder and director of The Phoenix Writers Network, a community of writers who meet bimonthly to develop relationships through the exchange of knowledge about craft, publishing, and the writing life.
