Author Application Period is Now Open!
5 Things to Know Before You Apply
- To qualify for participation, author must either live or work in Arizona at least part-time.
- The application fee of $45 dollars is due upon submission, and is a 100% donation to SEEDs for Autism.
- We will select 30 Featured Authors through a juried process; if selected you will be responsible for your own book inventory and sales.
- Those not selected for featured participation will be included in our “Explore More Arizona Authors” wall display (which includes one book cover image and a QR code to your preferred web address).
- Application period closes at midnight, October 31, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted, and we do not have a waitlist.
Featured Authors will receive:
- Listing on the festival website with bio, photo, and link to author website.
- Mentions in multiple social media announcements and inclusion in other festival promotions.
- Custom graphics/images for use in self-promotion of festival.
- Festival swag bag.
- Free parking in Chase Field Garage the day of the festival.
- Access to the VIP Lounge with complimentary beverages and snacks the day of the festival.
* Terms and Conditions: The Arizona Author Book Festival is a free, family-friendly event. No books, products, or services containing or advocating erotica, gratuitous violence, discrimination, or othr content deemed inappropriate by festival organizers will be considered. Selection of authors, vendors, and sponsors will be at the full discretion of the event organizers. Application fees, vendor fees, and sponsorship funds are due in advance and are nonrefundable; 100 percent of funds collected in this form will benefit SEEDs for Autism, a 501c3 charitable organization. By agreeing to apply and participate in the festival, you agree to all terms and will hold all organizing parties blameless for any circumstances leading to event cancellation and/or any losses and damages you may incur as a result of your participation.
