Thanks to all who participated in, volunteered at, and attended our inaugural event!

We’re still calculating all the numbers, though rough estimates show it was all we had hoped for and more. Roughly 40 local authors, writing groups and vendors. Approximately 500 attendees and 50-plus volunteers. Twelve costumed characters and 21 beautiful raffle baskets. More than $22,000 raised to support SEEDs for Autism. Countless smiles and bookish conversations!

The fun began the day before the festival with a pre-event Mixer for our featured authors – an opportunity to break bread, hug old friends, make new connections, and strike up meaningful conversations about reading, writing and life.

The day of the festival brought hundreds more authors, writers, readers and bookish fans, as well as more than 50 hardworking volunteers who helped with set-up, parking, raffle ticket sales, fun activities, and so much more.
